London police located a young marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff noticed the vulnerable animal on July 18. The animal was nervous and had any food or water while trembling. It withstood the harsh ordeal. Animal advocates labeled it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a previously unknown monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery emerged during a regular survey in the Congo Basin.
