Bandai Namco revealed the Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO and the new vision on July 23, 2026. Director Kenji Kamiyama will take the helm for the upcoming anime, scheduled to premiere in 2027. The project introduces a fresh Gundam universe, completely separate from prior canon. The new model is connected to the forthcoming Gundam Rogue Orbit project. Kamiyama is working to build a new timeline for the series.
