Russia's state development bank VEB.RF has removed its leading economist Andrei Klepaci. The dismissal of Andrei Klepaci came after he gave a scathing speech on the wartime economy. The bank chose to dismiss its chief economist after he issued public warnings regarding the conflict.
In the presentation, Klepaci warned that Russia will not win a war of attrition in Ukraine. He also stated that Russia cannot win a war of attrition against the West.
